So, I have never posted anything on here and I created this over a year ago. After being on facebook and catching up with some old friends...I ran across a blog. It was of my wonderful friend Jenny Schvaneveldt. I read her blog and was finding myself reading everything I could find on her blog. Her and I have not spoken for years, so it was wonderful to be able to read what has transpired in her life and I feel like I know all that has gone on with her. It was really inspiring...she is such a strong person and I admire what she has been through and her toughness and ability to handle it all with a smile. So, I decided to start this blog thing :) I will actually just give a low down on the Vigil family and what we have been up to the last while.

Jesse Jacob is our oldest. He turns 11 next week (I'm so sad that he is growing up so fast). He is heavily involved in sports. He has playing football for the last 3 years as a running back, basketball for the last 5 years and baseball FOREVER. His baseball has been so much fun because we get to travel a lot. These are our family trips for the year because we travel to about 6 tournaments a year. It is so much fun and some of my favorite people and closest friends have come from his team. His does a great job in school and is so mild mannered (don't know how that happened with the parents that he has).

Jalen Andrew is 7 years old and in 2nd grade. He has tried several sports, but baseball seems to be the only one that has kept his attention. He is more into guitar hero. He is so good at it, it is scary. He is definitely the most active, ADD-like child we have. The most like his Dad :) He makes me laugh CONSTANTLY. He has the most beautiful reddish hair and blue eyes ??? He also is so good at school and we are anxiously waiting to get his results from the testing for him to be in the gifted and talented program....he thinks outside the box and is very creative.

Jamison Quinn is almost 3 and absolutely loves his brothers. He wants to do anything that they do. He has memorized all of the names of the kids on Jesse's baseball team and acts like them at home all the time. His whole goal in life seems to be to torture Jalen. He is the funniest kid....I told him, "I'm the Mom." in response to one of his "Why?s" and then he told me, "You are the Mom, but I am the Boss!!!" Wow....we have got our hands full with him for sure!!!

Nick and I have been married for over 11 years now. It has been wonderful. He is my best friend and I never thought that I could marry someone that was so much like me :) He is working at Qwest and has been for the last 12-13 years. He coaches Jesse's football and baseball teams and looks forward to two more boys that he will coach. I am just the carpool mom :) I am on the little league baseball board and just look forward to the next game/activity. I am so glad that the boys are into guitar hero and rock band....because I love to play them too!!!

I hope I get the hang of this blog thing soon.... my sisters are all so good at it and I am going to have to beg Natalie to help me with a design :)
